Here are 8 simple bodyweight exercises in order to get the full use out of our bulldog gear ply box.
Step up onto the box with one leg then bring the other leg up as you straighten both legs. Step back down leading with your first leg and repeat.
Lateral Step Overs
Stand side on to the box and step up with the closest leg followed by your standing leg so that you're now standing on top of the box. Bring the outside leg down followed by the leading leg. Swap sides for sets.
Burpee Step Overs
Start side on to the box performing a burpee and going straight into a Lateral Step Over on the box, as explained above, then back into a burpee and repeat.
Elevated Push Ups
Start in a plank position with your feet on the box with your hands on the floor in front of you. Lower down into a push up so that your chest gets close to the floor, then push back up and repeat.
Elevated Knee Crunches
Start in a plank position with your feet on the box with your hands on the floor in front of you. Tighten your core and bring one knee towards your elbow on the same side. Return your leg towards the starting position and repeat on the other side.
Stand in front of a box or sturdy raised surface. Jump up onto the box, landing with both feet on top. Jump back down from the box, then immediately jump back up.
Burpee Box Jump
Start face on with the box and perform a burpee going straight into a Box Jump, as explained above, then back down to the ground into a burpee and repeat.
Stand in a split stance with your back leg elevated on the box. Keep your front foot flat on the ground and lower your body until your knee is close to the ground, then push back up and repeat. Swap leading leg for sets.
